Possibly Parsons Green

[Trevor Lucas, Pete Roche]

The title is based on Bob Dylan’s Positively Fourth Street. Sandy and Trevor lived in the Parsons Green district of London. It was originally released on Fairport’s album Nine with Jerry Donahue, Trevor Lucas (vocals), Dave Mattacks, Dave Pegg and Dave Swarbrick; this track is included in the cassette The Attic Tracks Vol. 1. A shortened version appeared on the B-Side of the The Devil in the Kitchen Australian-only single and later on Fiddlestix - The Best of Fairport 1972-1984.

The cassette The Attic Tracks Vol. 4 features a great up-tempo version of this song from Fairport’s Rainbow Theatre concert on 15 December 1973 which didn’t make it on the Live Convention album.
