This is a souvenir record released to celebrate the 900th Anniversary of
Selby Abbey in 1969.
The record includes a song extract by Shirley & Dolly Collins who
performed and evening of folk music at the Abbey. Narrated throughout by
Jill Ward and The Rev. Malcolm Smart with various extracts including the
Salvation Army Band and Evensong at the Scout service.
