This small collection of songs commemorates the 100th anniversary of the sailing of the SS Marloch (15 April 1923) and SS Metagama (23 April 1923) from the Western Isles in Scotland to Canada with hundreds of emigrants onboard. Two of the songs were composed at the time and I composed the first song in the collection to mark this important anniversary.
